There is a day on Asgard that Loki looks forward to every ten years. It's when a particular set of stars align and he's able to perform a series of complex spells. He is never to be disturbed on this day.
Enter Thor...missing his brother after spending years on the battlefield. He wants to tell Loki all about it and unfortunately walks in on Loki performing the spell.
The side-effect of walking in on Loki's spell is that for ten years until Loki can undo the spell, Thor must have sex. Every night. It's not that Loki doesn't like fucking his brother, but he does not know if Thor really wants this. And until Thor is freed from the spell, Loki will never know the truth.

1. Au where tensions were running high between Jotunheim and Asgard but it never led to actual war. One day Frigga and Odin’s only child, Thor, goes missing from where he was playing in the gardens. Though they search for him tirelessly Thor is never found. Odin needs an heir though and he sees Laufey’s youngest born son, who is not exactly wanted because he is a runt, as an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone (gains himself an heir and mitigates tensions between the two realms). Loki grows up as the only child of Frigga and Odin while knowing exactly where he came from. Insert eventual reappearance of Thor who has no memories of his childhood and who he actually is. Marriage plots and political intrigue ensue. 2. Thor is a god and Loki is a mortal who steals a powerful artifact from one of Thor’s temples. 3. Modern royalty au where Loki is an accomplished, notorious thief who makes a bet that he can steal from the royal family. He gets caught by Thor and they find that they are each other’s soulmate. Or mafia heir Loki and prince Thor find out they are soulmates.

In Asgard, there's a silly tradition. You put the fruit of life (or some such) under your pillow and if someone truly loved you would dream of them. A year later, you would be married, fates would conspire to make it happen. Loki had never had a lover, much less a boyfriend or girlfriend on Asgard. No one wanted him. They all wanted his beautiful blond brother Thor! He hated Thor because his brother got all the attention. He absolutely did not watch him, or think about him. There wasn't anything redeemable about him! He was a big blonde bully who pushed Loki around. One night he saw Thor looking so happy with Sif and got desperately jealous. He wanted that for himself. So he stole into Odin's private garden and got the fruit of life, and he dreamed....There's just one problem. ....He dreamed of Thor.

Crown Prince Thor doesn’t like the corruption and lose morals so prevalent in Asgard’s nobility+royalty+history so he leaves and becomes a notorious pirate, causing a ton of trouble for Asgard’s trade. His younger brother Loki then becomes crown prince, and within years king.

Here's the idea: Thor --or if you feel like being really spicy, LOKI--is king. Maybe of Asgard, maybe this is an historical AU. Thing is, whoever is king is also....married, as is the law of the land, but it's an open secret that the king has a liking for men. Specifically, one particular man, who he slowly begins to promote within the court. Everyone else becomes resentful–up to you how much class (or perhaps race, if this is Jotun!Loki) plays into it; in the play, Edward's lover is a commoner–plays into it. But I'm thinking intrigue, love, drama, all the marks of a great long-form royal mess.

Disney's Hercules AU

Not literally, mind you. But the basics: Thor is raised a mortal on earth for some reason and finds out his parentage late in life, leading him on a hero's quest. Perhaps instead of trying to become a god, he's trying to become "worthy." Loki is a snarky captive of the Big Bad--could be Hela, or perhaps the grandmaster! What happens when they meet?

Thor/Loki and Friga/Hela canon AU where a) instead of Odin turning to peace it was Hela with a help of Odin's war-bride Friga b) Loki is son Laufey and Hela. So Thor still gets born! Thor doesn't know that he is Odinson, so when a thousand years later it gets discovered... it pretty much ends in disaster. Que epic Loki quest that leads to Thorki.

-Revenge dating plot in which Loki dates Thor with the intention of destroying Thor’s family + company(or kingdom) as revenge for Odin destroying Laufey’s company(or kingdom). Breaking Thor’s heart will just be the icing on the cake, except whoops Loki accidentally falls in love. -Marriage of convenience plot in which Loki needs to get married to gain his inheritance and Thor is a famous celebrity who needs an image change. -Jotunheim wins the war and Loki takes Thor as his war prize with the intent of using him to usurp the throne. -Loki needs a bodyguard and his company only hires the best. Unfortunately for him that happens to be his ex-husband/fiancé Thor.

What if? taking place during Thor Ragnarok.

When Thor arrives at Sakaar Loki, who sees Thor only when he is at the Arena, tries to convince the Grandmaster to leave Thor to his care. Since he doesn't want to reveal their true identities, he just came out with "Well, you know... I admit it: he looks exactly as my type". The Grandmaster, after watching intensly into his eyes, starts to laugh "I see, I see... so that's why you weren't interest into the ladies I sent you. Okay, that's good, he is yours..." but before Loki can triumph, he says with a grin of fun and mischief "I can't wait to see how you will pat him in public. Oh, and of course I want all the details about your "war wounds", if you know what I mean".

And that's how the story starts.
Of course there will be a very anger, but also wound, Thor, who is also oblige to stay calm or Loki will taser him ('cause of course the Grandmaster gives the remote controller to Loki) and a Loki who is like "It's not my fault, it wasn't planned... like you would have had a better idea, anyway. And no, kick everybody ass ISN'T a good idea".
Useless to say that Loki will enjoy very much having all this power over Thor... but also the God of thunder will love it, at some point. ;p

"Do you remember nothing?" Thor's heart felt words do nothing to quell Loki's rage. He remembered more than Thor did, that was the problem.
Loki's love is all or nothing, and some time ago in one split second he made a choice that destroyed his chance at happiness. Thor paid the price of forgetting a huge part of their lives. But it was give up what he loved most, or ruin for both of them.
That choice haunts Loki. He can't love something only he can remember. So he hates him....he really hates him. Hates him for ruining Loki for anyone else.
But Thor remembers. Someone has given him that memory back recently. "I remember, Loki. I remember."
But it's been nearly five hundred years, and Loki can't see anything but hatred anymore.
It's too late, maybe.

Heimdall had seen a lot of strange things in his life, but none so perplexing as the two princes. There was a game they seemed to play with each other that didn't seem to work unless he was in the middle of it.

A fic about Thor and Loki using Heimdall to throw suspicion off of their growing relationship and also to rile each other up. Bonus if it takes Heimdall a bit to figure it out when they're young, but then just getting really awkward and uncomfortable when they're older. <3

Berserker Thor Prompt

An au in which Thor was old enough to participate in the war with Jotunheim and as a berserker he took out huge portions of Jotunheim’s army and is mostly responsible for the victory. However his rage was untamable and he turned on the Aesir army soon after. Odin manages to subdue him and locks him up in the deepest parts of the dungeon. He tells everyone that Thor died in battle. Odin of course kidnaps baby Loki at the end of the war and Loki grows up as a somewhat spoiled, mischievous, but generally liked prince and heir. There are very few things denied to him, one of the few being access to certain sections of the dungeons. But Loki’s coronation is coming up, as is the Odinsleep and no one can really stop him then.

I really like the theories (probably wrong) that say that in avengers 4 Tony is going to bring back Loki to help creating a new gauntlet. Think of avengers 1 Loki meeting infinity war Thor. Broken, emotionally destroyed Thor. I would love to read anyone's take on that situations! So many possibilities!!! :3

- Thor will meet Jotun Loki when he and his asgardians warrior will invade Jotunheim.
- Asgardians will win the battle and Laufey will offer them their son, Loki.
- Odin will accept. Behind Thor's back, Odin will make a deal with Laufey that Thor will marry Loki, so Jotunheim and Asgard can be in peace.
- Thor is angry and disgusted with it. He refuses.
- Thor will behave violently towards Loki at first.
- Wedding night: Loki's a virgin; bonus if Thor still behaves angrily towards him, but then he regrests it.
- In months Thor will actually start liking Loki somehow.

Loki suffers from his first heat when he is 20 years old, he is confused at first, Thor will help him.

2. Asgardians don't have ABO, but Jotuns do.
Thor, visiting Jotunheim, will find Jotun Loki in heat somewhere lying in the snow. Loki is scared at first but he needs to end his pains.
